Questions
Does everyone need to install it?
No. Add them as a name and split with them right away. They can join properly later if they want, and nothing you already recorded is lost.
Is there a limit on expenses?
No. Unlimited expenses, unlimited people, no daily cap and no ads. Some apps cap the free tier at three expenses a day; we do not.
How does it decide who pays whom?
It nets everything out. If you owe Ada and Ada owes Ben, MuCash cancels the middle and gives you the shortest list of payments that settles the group.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. MuCash never asks for a bank login and has no access to your accounts or messages. You enter what you want to track, which is why it works in any country and with any bank.
Which currencies are supported?
Over 40, including USD, EUR, GBP and TRY. Each book can use a different one, so a shop in dollars and a household in another currency live side by side.
Can I get my data out?
Any month exports as PDF or CSV. You can also delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, with no email required.
What does it cost?
The app is free to use. A Plus tier with longer history and cloud backup is coming later.
